Three Days Grace: These rockers were born out of the post-grunge era in Ontario, Canada in the mid-90s. The band broke out big with their single, "I Hate Everything About You," in 2003 and have reigned atop the modern rock charts ever since. The guys are currently on tour, the Three Day Grace concert schedule includes more than twenty-four stops across North America throughout Summer, 2011.

Three Days Grace formed in 1992 while still in high school under the moniker "Groundswell." Lineup adjustments, a name change, and a move to Toronto, gave birth to the modern Three Days Grace. After years of performing at local bars, writing and recording material, and begging for a record deal, the band was finally noticed by the president of Jive Records who signed them in 2003. They moved to the States to record their self-titled debut which was released in 2004. Its lead off single, "I Hate Everything About You," received heavy radio airplay and has become the band's signature hit. Though the album only peaked at #69 on the Billboard 200, it managed to sell a million copies; Not bad for a debut album from a hard-rock band. Three Days Grace tour dates had the guys on the road for nearly two years to support the album and develop a following.

This constant touring and sudden fame took its toll on the band. Lead singer, Adam Gontier, developed an addition to prescription medication and voluntarily checked himself into a rehab facility. The experience was emotionally charged and had an effect on the band's recordings. Following his stint at rehab, the band relocated to a cottage in their native Ontario to write, record, and experiment with new sounds for their sophomore album. The album produced songs that described the emotional and physical pain of addiction. The set, "One-X," released the singles "Pain," and "Never Too Late," and hit stores in 2006. The album peaked at #5 on the Billboard 200 and was certified platinum by the RIAA. Three Days Grace concert dates included a co-headlining tour with Seether and Breaking Benjamin during 2007.

The band went on hiatus before returning to the studio in 2009 to record their third album, "Life Starts Now." The album signaled a new lyrical direction for the band and featured a lighter, more mature side. The title is derived from the band's belief in the human will and ability to evolve in the face of crippling challenges. The positivity paid off, and the album debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200 becoming their highest charting album to date. It was released in 2009 and was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2010 Juno Awards. Three Days Grace tour dates were booked on several high profile concert outings. They embarked on a headlining Canadian tour in 2009 followed by a co-headlining US tour with Breaking Benjamin and Flyleaf in early 2010. Three Days Grace tour dates were scheduled at several festivals including Rocklahoma 2010 and the Pointfest tour in St. Louis. They finished out 2010 as the opening act for Nickelback on their Dark Horse Fall 2010 Tour. The Three Days Grace 2011 concert schedule includes a spring tour with Avenged Sevenfold and a headlining gig at Carolina Rebellion. Check out these metal rockers when they come to your area.
