Trivium: Finally, a rock band known for their guitar riffs and not glossy overly produced rock discs has emerged. Trivium has been providing us with mind blowing guitar solos and heavy hitting drums for over a decade. They have just released their fifth album, In Waves, in 2011 and are currently touring with Dream Theatre on the A Dramatic Turn of Events Tour. Don't miss a date on the Trivium concert schedule (2011); Use Eventful as your source for Trivium tour dates and venue information.

The Orlando based band released their debut album, Ember to Inferno, in 2003 and immediately garnered attention from Roadrunner Records who signed the band to a major label recording deal. After constant touring, Trivium released its sophomore set, Ascendancy, in 2005. The album debuted at #151 on the Billboard 200 and they were immediately hailed as the hardest rocking band in the biz. Hard rock magazine, Kerrang!, hailed Ascendancy, as "Album of the Year". Trivium tour dates were scheduled on the tours with Killswitch Engage and at Ozzfest.

Trivium released their third album, The crusade, which debuted at #25 on the Billboard 200. Trivium achieved a life-long goal when they toured with Metallica and Iron Maiden in 2007. They returned to the studio with Nick Raskulineca to produce Shogun, which debuted at #1 on the UK Rock charts and #23 on the Billboard 200 to become their highest charting album yet. Since releasing In Waves, Trivium has spent the bulk of 2011 on the road. They co-headlined the MAyhem Festival and were special guests on the Iron Maiden Final Frontier World Tour. If you didn't get the chance to catch them earlier this year, Trivium tour dates are currently scheduled throughout 2011 on the A Dramatic Turn of Events Tour with Dream Theatre. Don't miss out on a true American metal-core band when they visit a venue near you!

Arch Enemy: "The greatest challenge for me is to keep improving every aspect of the compositions and arrangements," says ARCH ENEMY founder/guitarist Michael Amott about new album, War Eternal. "I’m always searching for ‘the perfect ARCH ENEMY song.’ When I started the band in 1995 I had the idea to create the most heavy melodic band of all time."

And he did. Over the course of 19 years, ARCH ENEMY, under Amott’s guidance, crafted 10 acclaimed full-lengths, dominated sales charts, and toured the globe. If Amott were a smart man, he’d retire now to some tropical island with his favorite Michael Schenker records in tow and the setting sun on his face. But neither he nor ARCH ENEMY are done. Not by a long shot.

With vocalist Alissa White-Gluz replacing long-time frontwoman Angela Gossow in 2014 respectively, War Eternal is ARCH ENEMY reborn. "Changes in the band lineup are hardly ever looked upon favorably by the fans," Amott acknowledges, "which I completely understand. Nonetheless, it does happen and the changes that have been made in the ARCH ENEMY camp were necessary in order for the band to survive and keep going. I love the energy of working with new people and Alissa has certainly brought a lot of talent and enthusiasm to the band!"

There is no doubt that ARCH ENEMY are stronger than ever before. And the war is not over yet.
